Jackie contacted me about a month ago to photograph their backyard Los Angeles Micro-Wedding. The day came by so fast and the excitement of the day was palpable. I loved seeing all the details Jackie and David choose to represent their day. In addition, the love and warmth from all their family and friends could be felt in the speeches and hugs. As a photographer, I am coming to love smaller weddings. The intimate feelings and the ability of the couple knowing everyone at the wedding very well creates such a comfortable atmosphere. Getting Ready/Detail Photos

I love capturing the details of the day. Jackie and David did have a tea ceremony earlier in the day (they did not book me to photograph that portion of their day). Jackie really wanted me to photograph her and David in their tea ceremony outfits which I happily obliged. The day started very warm and sunny and therefore that helped to capture natural lighting.

First Look

For the second part of their photos, Jackie and David changed into their reception outfits. In addition, they had a first look which was so sweet. I did not have a lot of time to capture their photos before their reception so time was paramount.

I love capturing table details and I could spend forever photographing flowers and plate settings.
